Method of using MAC eyeshadows :
Shades: Embark, Electric eel, Woodwinked Cranberry , Carbon
Can be used wet or dry. Use appropriate eyeshadow brush depending upon which areas you want to use the eyeshadows on. Say for instance use MAC 239 for all over lid, MAC 219 for lower lash line or MAC 217 blending brush for the crease.
My Experience in using MAC eyeshadows
These are beautiful colors. I must say that MAC eyeshadows have a very superior quality as compared to many other brands out there. First off their pigmentation is very high as you can see in both the dry and wet swatches. All the swatches were done without using an eye shadow primer. With a primer the effect would be more longlasting and even greater color payoff. Now about the three eyeshadows that are being reviewed here. All three lived true to the finish as given on the MAC website. See the pictures of the swatches.

MAC Embark: This is a matte eyeshadow and is of a reddish brown color. Applied with the MAC 219 works very well for lower lash line for a smokey effect. This is the best use I found for this eyeshadow.
MAC Electric eel: This eyeshadow is a satin finish and is bright blue with subtle shimmer. I needed to pat this on using either the MAC 239 or my fingers onto my eyelid area. I even tried this on my lower lash line. But it didn’t work out for me. Very fair skin tones would be able to carry this off as an eyeliner too.
MAC Woodwinked: This one is is veluxe pearl finish and is a warm antique gold color in the pan. Once swatched you can see the pearl finish. This worked best as a base on the lid with an eyeliner on top being a must.
I will definitely be getting more of their eyeshadows. I have bought a MAC pro palette which I intend to fill in with more gorgeous colors.Update Posted on 6th August 2016: Hello again everyone. I have added two more shades which are Cranberry and Carbon Black. The thing is that in my local MAC store, they have limited shades available in the refill pans, so I am adding what I can get and like.
MAC Cranberry : This is a red plum with pink shimmer with a frost shimmer. A beautiful color . Can be used sometimes during the day but best for weddings engagements or parties. See the swatch picture below.
MAC Carbon: This is an intense black matte finish shadow. You can see the color payoff in the swatch picture below. True to color, can be used as a liner if you want a smokey effect.
