Colorbar Just Smoky Kajal Review

Shades: 004 Just Teal, 007 Just Electra, 003 Just Green

Hi Everyone,

I am absolutely loving the silver colored packaging of the Colorbar products. Today I am writing about the Colorbar Just Smoky Kajal . I bought these with some trepidation as pencils don’t always work on my eyelid as they are oily and after a time the color smudges and the look is not a neat one .The kajals are in pencil form and have sponge tips at the back as you can see in the picture above. It helps that they have given the entire pencil the same color as the kajal so the morning routine becomes so much easier as you don’t have to rush around finding the color you want to use .

About my experience of using the Colorbar Just Smoky Kajal:

So my first buy was the Just Teal . It worked very well with a beautiful color payoff.
This kajal has to sharpened. This is a true multipurpose product. I will explain how: 1. It can be used as an eyeliner. Worked for me on both the upper and the lower eyelid. Best part is the color payoff is amazing. It has a jewelled tone to it which I like very much. Secondly the smudger can be used to tone down the color and give a very subtle effect. Thirdly you can use the kajal as a full on eyeshadow. You can draw a thin or thick line as you like. This has an excellent  color payoff. I applied it to my upper eyelids and it stayed on the whole day without smudging. No primer was  used prior to applying. The waterproof claim is true. I used this through an hour at the gym and this had not budged.  But the best part of using the Colorbar Just Smoky Kajal  is that it was not a struggle to remove and could easily  remove it with my Rimmel eye make up  remover.

So since I was very happy with the Just Teal I went ahead and bought the Just Electra and Just Green ones as well. These cost me Rs.650 each.

UPDATE: 27TH AUGUST 2016

Of late I have started apply this kajal to the lower lash line as well . Looks best when paired with regular black kajal. It does not smudge and lasts for at least 8 to 10 hours. This product is also a winner of the Elle India Beauty Awards 2015.

UPDATE: 8TH NOVEMBER 2016

Being such a fan of the Colorbar Just Smoky Kajal I have gone ahead and purchased the Just Black variant as well. Like the other three I have not been disappointed at all. The price still is Rs.650.

UPDATE: 14TH NOVEMBER 2016

So finally I have indulged and bought  the  Colorbar Just Smoky Kajal in the shade Just Grey . I was actually pretty much determined to buy the Just Brown shade but made the decision to go with the grey in store. It’s a beautiful color. Just apt for those times when you want an eyeliner but a subtle one. See the swatches below:
